Hello and Welcome to Siouxland Homeschool Activities!

We are glad you found our website and would like to take a few minutes to share our story with you.

Simply put - we are a group of moms.

We are homeschooling moms who have been homeschooling our own children since birth, and for some, through graduation. We have a love for homeschooling and we like to organize activities and events that bring homeschoolers together. “If I’m going to plan an activity for my kids, why not invite all the homeschooling friends and make it even better?” This quote is a common philosophy that we all share.

Our website is new but we have been coordinating events for homeschoolers for many, many years. We have over 35 years of combined experience!

We are very excited to share this new website with all of you and hope you learn to love it as much as we do!
The Calendar of Activities allows everyone to see a whole month of activities at a glance and with a few clicks you can see many months and even the whole year. You can also sign-up and pay attendance fees right on the calendar, for most activities. This feature is a much needed detail that will allow us to book activities, have exact attendance numbers, and pay facilities in a timely manner.
Need to ask someone a question, but don’t know who in our community to ask? Easy! Ask your question to every member at once or share an idea right on our forums page. Have something useful to sell? You can do that on the forums too!
If you want to reach out to a member personally, you can locate (most) member’s information by checking our online directory.
Like email reminders? Great! We send out a weekly email newsletter that includes upcoming activities and other details. Event Coordinators may also choose to send out specific emails alerting you to upcoming events and sign-up deadlines too.

Please be patient with us and each other as we learn to navigate this new Communication Hub (our new website). Maybe together, we’ll find some new exciting features yet to be discovered.
