About HMA PSP

Holy Martyrs Academy PSP is a Private Satellite Program registered in the State of California, serving homeschooling families in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade.

We affirm what the Church has always taught: parents are the primary educators of their children. The role of our PSP is to support that calling by providing legal coverage, record-keeping services, and administrative oversight for families who choose to homeschool privately.

Our PSP offers:
* Maintenance of required private school records
* Assistance with attendance documentation
* Transcript guidance for high school students

Enrollment in the PSP does not require participation in the Academic Co-op. These are two separate entities, designed to serve families according to their needs.

Accreditation Status
At this time, Holy Martyrs Academy PSP is not WASC-accredited. Families who desire WASC accreditation should consider this when making educational decisions.

We are transparent about our status and committed to serving families with integrity and clarity.

About HMA Academic Co-op

Holy Martyrs Academy Academic Co-op is a four-day-a-week, in-person homeschool community serving students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. Rooted in the rich intellectual and spiritual tradition of the Catholic Church, HMA exists to assist parents in forming young men and women who pursue truth, love what is good, and choose what is beautiful.

Our approach is distinctly classical. We believe education is not merely the transfer of information but the formation of the whole person. Students are guided through strong academics, thoughtful discussion, disciplined study, and meaningful relationships within a joyful Catholic environment.

At HMA, we focus intentionally on the development of the body, mind, and soul:
* Mind - rigorous coursework grounded in classical methods and ordered thinking
* Body - discipline, responsibility, and healthy habits
* Soul - prayer, sacramental life, and authentic Catholic culture

Each month, our Academy highlights a specific virtue, intentionally woven into classroom instruction, discussion, and community life. Students are encouraged not only to learn about virtue but to practice it, forming habits that will shape their character long after graduation.

Classical Education at HMA
Our curriculum emphasizes:
* Mastery of language through strong reading, writing, grammar, and literature
* Logical and mathematical precision
* The study of history as a meaningful story ordered toward God
* Scientific inquiry that recognizes the intelligibility of creation
* The integration of faith and reason

We are building a culture where students learn how to think clearly, speak articulately, and act virtuously.

Enrollment in the Academic Co-op does not require participation in the PSP. These are two separate entities, designed to serve families according to their needs.

Open Enrollment begins February 23, 2026.

Holy Martyrs Academy's Statement of Faith

We profess the following:
1. Belief in the Holy Trinity – We believe in one God in three Divine Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
2. Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition – We accept both Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition as the divinely revealed and inerrant Word of God, faithfully interpreted by the Church’s Magisterium.
3. The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church – We believe the Catholic Church is the true Church founded by Jesus Christ, entrusted to the care of the successors of St. Peter.
4. The Sacraments – We affirm that the seven sacraments were instituted by Christ and are channels of grace. We recognize the centrality of the Holy Eucharist and the necessity of frequent reception of the sacraments, especially Confession and Holy Communion.
5. The Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist – We profess that Jesus Christ is truly present—Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity—in the Holy Eucharist.
6. The Moral Teachings of the Church – We affirm the Church’s moral teachings, including those on the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death, the dignity of marriage as the union of one man and one woman, and the proper ordering of sexuality within that bond.
7. The Authority of the Church – We accept the authority of the Roman Pontiff and the bishops in communion with him, and we submit in obedience to their teachings in matters of faith and morals.
8. Devotion to Our Lady and the Saints – We honor the Blessed Virgin Mary as the Mother of God and our spiritual mother. We seek the intercession of the saints and strive to imitate their holiness.
9. The Call to Holiness and Christian Virtue – We understand that education is not merely the formation of the intellect, but of the whole person in truth and virtue. We pledge to foster a Catholic life of prayer, charity, discipline, and obedience.
