Mrs. Alissa Young To All Instructors

Hello! My name is Alissa Young. I am a wife and a mom to 2 wonderful kids. We live in Andover, MN. In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors, reading, fishing, and watching my kids play sports.

I am one of the Barton Reading and Spelling tutors at Rise Up. This will be my fifth year offering tutoring with the Barton program. I love building a relationship with and earning the trust of each student I work with. I have a passion for helping students rise to their full potential with reading and spelling. Each child learns at a different pace and some children need a deeper dive and more repetition to truly master it. The one-on-one class format allows us to customize the speed and individualize the instruction for each student.
