Mission Statement

The Co-op is a fellowship consisting of homeschooling families working together to obtain an academically rigorous, Christian education for their students in a loving, supportive environment. It exists to support all home-educating families in their efforts to instruct and raise their students. Our collective goal is to turn out well-educated, Christ-like members of society into the communities of the North Shore and the greater world beyond. Excelsior!

Welcome!

Are you looking for more information about The Co Op on the North Shore? We meet on Thursdays at Northlake Church in Lago Vista, TX. Our day starts at 8:30 and ends at 3:00. Start by reading though the Handbook below and checking out the Class Matrix.

Choosing the Social Membership gives you access to tuition classes, field trips and  social events. The $75 Registration Fee covers the cost of the website hosting and administration supplies.

Don't hesitate to contact the admin team at thecooponthenorthshore@gmail.com with any questions. Emails are answered by the volunteer admin team on a weekly, not daily, basis. In the meantime, check out the FAQ page to see if your questions have already been asked and answered. Be sure to visit us at one of our Q&A sessions if you'd like to meet us in person and get more information. You can find details by clicking on the event on the calendar here on this homepage. Returning Family Registration opens April 15th

Returning Family Class Registration opens April 22nd

New Family Registration and Class Registration opens May 1st

Returning Family? Please login to your homeschool-life account and update your profile with any address, age, grade, and/or allergy, etc. changes. Re-sign the handbook either electronically or physically and email or give it to an admin before co op starts. An invoice will be created for returning members and can be paid on June 1st. In the meantime, you will still be able to register for classes starting April 22nd.

Tuition Electives: We've had the blessing of adding tuition-based afternoon electives. These tuition-based classes are not part of the cooperative classes. If you choose the afternoon chess club for 3rd-8th grades you may leave the facility while your child is in class. NOTE: If you have another student taking a non-tuition class at that time you are required to stay on campus for the duration of all your cooperative class blocks.

Have questions? Please email thecooponthenorthshore@gmail.com and we'll be glad to help you with registration and enrollment.
