Homeschool Divergent Family Enrichment Club is an inclusive community that welcomes all homeschool children, especially our neruodivergent friends.

Adults are required on property at all times with no exceptions (Teen Drop Off Program is a seperate program that requires an additional application and approval). Our members must agree to be respectful at all times and any bullying or harassment will result in an immediate investiagion and/or suspension. Other parents, board members and leadership are not responsible for disciplining students, adults are expected to monitor their own children's behavior at all times and step in when necessary. However our board of directors will generally act as the program director at each event and will always be happy to assist in helping our youth feel comfortable in the space. Please reach out to one of us if there is any concern with your child or another parent or child even if choosing to resolve issue on your own, it's important for the board to stay updated.

Our Handbook is available at all times in the Member Section of our members only portal, please review this as needed throughout the year. Adults must participate in a quick Youth Protection informational Training provided by the HSBG Board Of Directors to help set clear boundaries and expectations to keep everyone safe in our space. Orientation is the best time for this to be done, if you can not attend orientation please contact us before to make other arrangemetns.

*Social Security and DL Information: Every attending adult must have a background check through the state in order to protect our students/families and satisfy the requirements of our insurance and facility. This information is used solely for this purpose and is not kept in any other database. Information collected is not shared with any third party or any member of the cooperative outside of The Board of Directors who the information applies to. Please contact us for questions.

8. Information Exchange

Homeschool Bowling Green Co board shall be responsible submitting applications to the Kentucky Cout of Justice for the background checks to be completed. We only have access to criminal record reports that are public information. However, you we do not receive information on case types that are confidential by law or not part of the criminal record. Included are misdemeanor and traffic cases for at least the last five (5) years and felonies dating back to 1978.

Applications that have been reviewed and appear to be out of compliance with the standards of the background process will be discuessed with the member applyling. Child abuse, sexual assault and violent crimes are criteria for immiedite denial.

Background Check Acknowledgement

I give Homeschool Bowling Green Co on behalf of Homeschool Divergent Club and its board of directors permission to utilize my information in this application to apply for a bakground check through the Kentucky Court of Justice website and utilize the results to determine member participation. Background checks are mandatory for any adult member who attends member only events that are not open to "special guests". (1 required) Yes
9. Building our community with the help if technology will always have it's pros and cons. We require all members to list basic information on the directory including family info and a good contact email in order to make socializing easier between families. If you do not want your information shared or have an issue with another member please contact us immediately. We have a zero tolerance policy for any unwanted communication, soliciting or other negative behavior between families.

Payment Instructions

Annual non-refundable registration fees per family are $70 annually which includes all dependant children in a household and one legal parent/guardian back ground checked through Kentucky State. Addional attending adults are $25 each, visitors during guest days will not need a background check on file. This fee does not cover any class registration or pay per event fees, registration must be done through the member only portal but payments can be made by check if recieved by deadline. All online payments will include a 3% transaction fee.
