Definitely worth looking into.
Khan Academy
Are you or your students struggling with a math concept? Check out Khan Academy. You can watch videos that explain how to do different math concepts. Or your student can work problems to see if they understand the concept. Easy to use and free with no ads.
Online Math worksheet Generator
Are you writing your own curriculum? Does your student need more practice than your math curriculum is giving you? Check out this website. You can print a few worksheet for free. If you want everything the website offers it's only $27.50/yr for a family (or $2.75/month, $8.25/3 months, $16.50/6 months). Worth every penny if you're writing your own math curriculum. Did I tell you that every worksheet it generates is different, even in the same practice problems or you can slowly increase the difficulty in certain math concepts.

Voyageur ancient Fif and Drum Corps
For ages 8-18 Price: Free
Fifing experience is not necessary, although knowledge on another instrument can be helpful. Drummers will need knowledge of rudiments and may require lessons. Fifers will receive a black fife and music book for learning to fife. Drummers will need to purchase their own sticks recommended by our drum instructor and practice pad. Drums are property of the Corps and will be issued to each drummer who is expected to take care of their drum. all musicians should bring their music books to every practice. We'll share information about song titles that represent an historical place or event and a number of marching techniques and facing movements will be learned.

Civil Air Patrol (CAP)
Civil Air Patrol, an auxiliary of United States Air Force, is a good opportunity for anyone 12 years old or older to participate in youth education, aerospace, STEM, and character development. Young people can participate in O-flights and flight academies with the goal of solo piloting and eventually obtaining private pilot license. This is also a good program for the cadets to learn leadership skills, military customs and courtesies, color guard, and can provide the opportunity to enlist at a higher rank if you are planning on joining the Air Force or any other military branch including ROTC.
Adult members may participate in youth education, search and rescue, and those who have pilot license may use that to fly CAP planes for cadet training and search and rescue.
There are two local squadrons. One meets in Camden at the American Legion Tuesdays at 7 PM. The other meets in Lafayette at the National Guard Armory. Check website for more information.
