1. FINANCIAL POLICY 2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR:

Past Due Balances: Existing families with a past-due balance will not be able to register for the 2026-2027 academic year until their past-due balance is paid.

Committment: Payment is required as a condition of participating in classes at Substance Academy. All payments are expected to be submitted on or before their due date. Non-payment or consistent late payments may result in suspension of involvement in classes.

Cancellation / Refund Deadline - If a student is unenrolling from either or both days, the family must notify Substance Academy leadership NO LATER THAN Friday, October 2, 2026 in order to receive a pro-rated refund of tuition.

Early Withdrawal from Enrollment - After October 2, 2026, tuition payments are non-refundable from the first day of each semester. Any portion of a semester in attendance is calculated as a full semester's charge. If you have prepaid your child's entire annual tuition and you withdraw your child from enrollment during the school year, you will be reimbursed only for the whole semester not used.

Change of Schedule - If you desire to change your schedule, please contact the Substance Academy administrator. They will work with the teachers to determine if a change is possible.

Fees - Families are responsible for all NSF, service charges, and credit card processing fees. If action is instituted to collect any past due amount, family will be responsible to pay all costs and expenses, as allowed by law.

Payment Instructions

A yearly $50 non-refundable enrollment/application fee is due at the time of this request. You can pay on the portal or you can write a check to Substance Academy and mail it to the address below. If you mail a check please notify Katie Hinz, katie@substanceacademy.org.
