Mr. Efrain (E) Aguirre
Efrain is a Children’s Pastor with a heart for reaching the next generation for Jesus. He has an Associate of Science degree from Kishwaukee College with a focus on math and science education. He has experience teaching and preaching the Gospel and tutoring students K-12 in math and science. He is passionate about communicating who God is and helping others understand the world around them.
Mrs. Isabel Almaguer
Isabel is a cooking teacher and homeschool mom of three who loves helping kids discover the joy of cooking. With years of hands-on experience in the kitchen, she makes cooking fun, safe, and easy to understand. Her goal is to inspire young chefs to feel confident, explore new flavors, and enjoy the magic of creating meals from scratch!
Mrs. Adri Arguelles - Martinez
Mrs. Adri Martínez is a homeschooling mother of three. She loves the opportunity to teach her children Spanish at home. She is bilingual and studied art and painting. She is a pastor's wife. She is a member of Real Connection Church in DeKalb. She has been in the ministry for over 24 years. She is passionate about teaching truth through a biblical worldview. She has been actively involved in her church's children's ministry, where she enjoys working with children. She taught and coordinated Sunday school, the worship team plays the piano and sings , and Summer Bible School. She worked in the women's ministry. She evangelizes and collaborates with her husband in pastoral counseling for married couples, youth, and adults. Some of her hobbies include spending time with her family, painting, rollerblading and working at her church.
Mrs. Brianna Baltrusis
Brianna is a mom to daughters Gwendolyn and Magnolia. She works part time as a speech and language pathologist in her private practice, Lift Your Voice Speech Therapy, LLC. She received her bachelor’s degree at EIU and her master’s degree at the University of West Georgia, both in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Some of her hobbies include spending time with her family, bird watching, being outside, yoga, and reading.Ms. Lauren DeVlieger
Lauren is mom to Desmond, Naomi, and Garth. She has a PhD in Clinical Psychology and works as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at her private practice in DeKalb. Lauren's college and graduate education is from both faith-based and secular universities, with her passion being the integration of Scripture and theology into the vast realm of psychology.
Mrs. Aimee Kraus
Aimee is a homeschool mom of three and enjoys learning and teaching! She received her bachelor’s degree from Aurora University in elementary education. Previous experience includes teaching 1st, 3rd and 5th grade. In addition to elementary education, she is also very passionate about music and has played piano since 2nd grade. She received an associate degree in music. Aimee loves the Lord and her goal in teaching is to always keep the focus on our creator. Aimee loves how every child learns differently and is excited to help your child explore new subjects!Mrs. Jeanette Mcnicol
Jeanette has always loved art and sewing. She studied art at Cerritos college in California and
enjoyed learning drawing, painting, illustration, ceramics, and computer graphics. These dual
interests have taken several paths including designing and manufacturing infant bedding,
designing and painting backdrops for church plays and VBS sets, stage decor,making
costumes, creating and leading crafts in VBS, designing and altering wedding and special
occasion garments. Jeanette loves to pass on the things she has learned which has led her to
teach art and sewing to home school students over the past 20 years while maintaining her
other sewing business. She also enjoys cooking, gardening and agility training their English
Cocker spaniel. Jeanette is married and has two children and 4 adult grandchildren. She lives in
DeKalb.
Mrs. Miriah Pfile
Miriah Pfile is a mother of four children and homeschools her children, her youngest two which attend the co-op. She graudated from Judson University with a B.A. in art. She enjoys cooking, sewing, crochet, and being creative with the talents God gave her. She is a memeber of First Baptist Church in Sycamore.
