STEP 1: Is CULTIVATE right for you? Cultivate-Manistee Christian Homeschool Co-Op is a ministry of Lakeshore Church and operates under the beliefs of the Converge denomination. Click here to view the Converge Statement of Faith. (Scroll down to the "Our beliefs and doctrinal distinctives" section). If you are in support of the Statement of Faith, proceed to Step 2.
STEP 2: Complete this Membership Application Form
STEP 3: Attend an Informational Meeting with CULTIVATE'S Leadership Team.
Memberships will only be approved if the Cultivate leaders have met with you, and you have completed a membership application. If you have not had a meeting with us, please fill out the application, and, if approved, we will contact you to set up a meeting. If you prefer to meet with us before filling out an application, feel free to email us at cultivatehomeschoolers@gmail.com. If you have already met with us, please fill out the membership application, and we will be in touch with you soon.
STEP 4: Set up an account on the CULTIVATE website. Once your membership has been approved, you will be asked to create an account on our website.
STEP 5: Submit payment of $30. A $30 fee must be received before the semester begins. This amount is for one semester. Payments can be made in the form of cash or check to the Leadership Team, or online by clicking here (a processing fee of $0.97 is requested).
STEP 6: Complete and sign paperwork and submit form for background check. You will be asked to complete and sign an ADULT Liability Waiver and a CHILD Liability Waiver for each adult and child in your family who will be attending the co-op. Feel free to print these out and bring them with you to the next meet up, or we can provide printed copies for you. You will also receive an email from Checkr Background Service/Lakeshore Church. It takes just a few minutes to fill out the form, and there is no cost to you.
The deadline to join for the Spring 2026 semester is January 23rd. The Spring 2026 Semester begins March 4. (See our calendar on the home page for upcoming dates.)
