FAQs

Q:

What kind of program is MCHA?

A:

MCHA is a Non-Profit 501c3 organization that offers a vartiety of opportunities for homeschool families including consulting.

Our current class offerings include a weekly drop off enrichment program for Kinder thru 12th and A La Carte Classes when available.

Q:

Is attendance required?

A:

Due to the nature of our program and the time and effort that our teachers put in to preparing lessons, attendance is expected.  While we understand that life happens, it is expected that students not have more than 2 planned absences during a semester at the time of enrollment.

Q:

What is a Drop Off Enrichment Program?

A:

We offer a once a week, 12 week, semester for students to attend a variety of enrichment classes that are taught by parents or other community members that have gone through a background check and their sources approved to meet the standards that MCHA upholds.  Students attend 3 classes per day.  Our goal is to encourage students in a variety of subjects and developing friendships.

Q:

Can my student attend more than one of your program offerings?

A:

YES!  By paying your registration fee, your child(ren) are able to enroll in any of the progams we are offering.  Each program is designed with unique requirements to be able to attend, see each pages section for further information.

Q:

Am I required to stay with my students?

A:

This depends on the program you are enrolling into.  Some of the programs require a parent to stay on site, other programs, like our weekly Enrichment Program are drop off, see each programs page for details.  If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.

Q:

What do my registration and tuition fees cover?

A:

All fees are collected to cover costs associated with insurances, facility use, teacher compensation, background checks, material costs, program supplies and any extra events that may be organized through the year.  Additional class fees may be requested if the materials are going to be above the average budgeted class amount.

Q:

Is MCHA a Religous Program?

A:

Our classes are enrichment-based and include members from many different religious backgrounds, as such we will adhere to common Biblical truths and ask that families, teachers or students not promote teaching contrary to these beliefs in the classroom, at any co-op sponsored event, or in any media form identified.
