What is Eday?

E-Day is a day set aside to provide enrichment classes for families who are members of ACCHS in good standing.  There is a fall and spring semester, both ten weeks long.  E-Day includes up to five class hours each time we meet, though families may choose to participate in any or all classes.  There is usually at least one class each hour for each age group (K-3, 4-6, 7-8, 9-12).  Families are welcome to come and go as their schedules allow, but parents are required to stay at the facility the entire time their children are attending E-Day.  As a parent-led organization, E-Day relies on our participating members to help in some way to ensure E-Day functions well.  There are several ways parents can help: by teaching a class, assisting in a class, working to staff our nursery, or helping to clean the facility at the end of the day.  At the end of each semester, a performance is held for classes to display the knowledge and skills they have learned during the semester.  The Drama class also performs a play each spring open to all ACCHS famlies to attend.
