General Information

Q:

We'd like to visit Creation Explorers of Cedarville. When may we visit?

A:

We strongly encourage you to visit us and see if we are a good fit for your family. We hold Open House co-op days in the following months: October, November, February, and March. Please contact us to schedule your visit.

If you have not been a part of another co-op previous to your application, we do require a visit on one of our Open House days before an applying. You will be asked to note your visit date on the application. If you have been a part of another co-op, you will have the opportunity to note that on the application as well.

Q:

What science curriculum do you use? Which books are you using for the new academic year?

A:

We use Apologia's Exploring Creation Series for all our science classes.

For the 2026-2027 academic year, we will be using the following:

  • Elementary: Zoology 1:Flying Creatures of the 5th Day, 2nd Ed.
  • Middle School: General Science, 3rd Ed.
  • High School: Biology, 3rd Ed. & Physics, 2nd Ed.

Projected for the 2027-2028 academic year, we plan to use the following:

  • Elementary: Chemistry & Physics, 1st Ed.
  • Middle School: Physical Science, 4th Ed.
  • High School: Chemistry, 3rd Ed. & TBD

New Member Application

Q:

I would like to apply to be a new member of Creation Explorers of Cedarville. When should I apply?

A:

Applications for new members opens May 1st of each year and closes on May 31st. You'll want to revisit this website to apply. Please click on "Join" at the top of the page to begin the application process. 

If you have not been a part of another co-op previous to your application, we do require a visit on one of our Open House days before an applying. You will be asked to note your visit date on the application. If you have been a part of another co-op, you will have the opportunity to note that on the application as well.

What does your application process look like?

A:

We're glad that you asked! Our application process is as follows:

  1. Turn in completed application packet for Board review
  2. Board grants interview based on numbers/circumstances
  3. Attend the interview and await acceptance
  4. Receive admission email and register once accepted
  5. Pay the family registration fees & lab fees
  6. Begin as a new member under review for the 1st year
