Both girls and boys are welcome. All sports are free (excepting the ones where we have to pay for a rental). If students are interested, they can try out for the team that competes at SOCSSAA (see next box).
What is SOCSSAA?
What does SOCSSAA mean?
CCHE applied to be a part of the Southern Ontario Christian Secondary School Athletic Association (SOCSSAA) and we were accepted! We thank God for this exciting opportunity!
High school students will have the opportunity to participate in a number of sports tournaments throughout the school year. Last year we had great fun competing against DCSS at the end of each month with a new sport, and this year we will join them and around 8 other schools and homeschool groups in competition on SOCSSAA tournament days.
Similar to last year, each month there will be a sign-up email sent out for each new sport. Everyone is welcome to sign up for whichever sport they are interested in throughout the year and once “Skills and Drills” practices finish, a team will be selected to go to tournament day. There will be a fee to participate in the tournament which contributes towards venue rental cost and referees. Questions? cchehighschoolsports@gmail.com Mike and Dawn Keunen
