Youth Leadership Program
There will be a summer session for the Toastmasters Gavel Club. This is open for students ages 10-17. This is a wonderful opportunity to practice your leadership and public speaking during the summer. It will be held at the following location:
First Baptist Church Downtown
401 Pine Street
Texarkana, TX 75501
FREE to Students -- Youth Leadership Program will start June 1st and will last eight weeks through July 20th. The sessions are from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Light snacks will be provided.
This is a wonderful opportunity to get familiar with the roles of the Gavel Club. When TORCH Gavel Club meets during the school year, we expect the Gavel Club members to know the roles and duties of a Toastmaster and this summer session would be the time to get familiar with the roles and to work on speaking confidence.
