Sign up for membership to access the members-only portion of our website and connect with a vibrant local homeschool network.

For a small annual fee (just enough to cover the cost of the website), you’ll gain access to a full online community—including message boards, classifieds, events, and more.

This is not a co-op or a group that meets regularly. Instead, it’s a central hub designed to foster communication, connection, and opportunities for homeschool families throughout the La Crosse area.

To make things easy, you’ll receive a simple weekly email with updates on message threads, events, classifieds, and more—so you can stay in the loop without having to constantly check another platform. We know you’re busy, and this is built with that in mind ??

Our hope is that this platform is a true blessing to families in our region and serves as a meaningful support for our homeschool community.

We know our area stretches far and wide; Tomah, Viroqua, La Crescent and beyond. If you consider La Crosse to be part of your local community and you travel here for events or community you are welcome to join!  

Where Your Membership Fee Goes

Each member pays $12 annually, which goes directly toward the cost of maintaining our independent website.

Our site is hosted on the Homeschool-Life platform—an incredible organization with a mission to support the homeschool community. They charge $9.99 per family for access to their platform. In addition, there are a few other small costs involved in maintaining and running the website.

We do our best to keep expenses as low as possible while still providing a valuable, easy-to-use resource for our community.

Thanks for signing up on the website. I saw your FB comment and figured I would reach out here so I can send you a screenshot. 

1) Go to the website lacrosseareahomeschool.com

2) Log in (using the credentials you picked in the registration process)

3) Once you're logged in, in the upper right hand corner there is a little Credit card icon that probably says $12. Press that and it will send you to a screen where you can pay any outstanding balance on your account. (You can also add other items such as field trip fees, etc. before paying so you don't have multiple transactions) 

4) That payments page will allow you to select the items you wish to pay for and then press "Pay now" and that will bring you to a paypal processing platform. You don't need a paypal account, you can select "pay with debit/credit card" if you'd like

Our calendar is only viewable by members to avoid any confusion. We would love to have you! If the membership fee is a financial burden for your family please reach out, we would love to help!

Once you're logged into your account (on your mobile device) there is a little phone icon in the upper right hand corner and it gives instructions on downloading the app. It's not available on the App Store to keep costs down. There is a new version rolling out soon (March 2026) so keep an eye out because you'll have to do the process again to make sure you get the updates!
