The La Crosse Area Homeschool Association (LAHA) is a community hub for homeschool families throughout our region. Whether you’re exploring homeschooling with a preschooler or looking for connections for your older children, you’re welcome here.

You don’t need to belong to a particular co-op or church to join. LAHA welcomes families with different homeschooling styles and asks members to respect one another’s choices.
Our community reaches beyond La Crosse to Tomah, Viroqua, La Crescent, and surrounding areas. If you consider La Crosse part of your local community, we’d love to connect.
LAHA serves as an online hub, with activities organized by member families. It isn’t a co-op with a regular meeting schedule, and volunteering is optional.
Join for $12 per year
Your annual membership helps cover our website platform and operating costs. Membership includes access to community discussions, classifieds, the event calendar, and the LAHA app—the best way to stay up to date.
Some activities have separate fees, which are listed in their descriptions. Membership renews each spring.

What is LAHA, and how does membership work?
LAHA is an online community connecting homeschool families throughout the La Crosse area. It serves as a central place to share ideas, find opportunities, and build relationships.
Membership costs $12 per year and includes access to our members-only website, message boards, classifieds, and event calendar. A weekly email keeps you updated on community discussions, events, and more.
LAHA is not a co-op and does not have a regular meeting schedule. Families use the community to connect and organize activities together.
How do I join LAHA?
Visit lacrosseareahomeschool.com and complete the membership registration. You’ll choose a username and password to access your account.
Membership is $12 per year. For payment instructions, see “How do I pay membership and field trip fees?” If you need help joining, email lacrosseareahomeschool@gmail.com.
Can I join if I don't live in La Crosse?
Yes! Our community includes families from Tomah, Viroqua, La Crescent, and beyond. If you consider La Crosse part of your local community and travel here for activities or connections, you’re welcome to join.
