  Rules and Regulations
  1. General Code of Conduct
    • Respect: All participants must treat one another with kindness, patience, and respect.
    • Safety First: Behavior that endangers others—physically or emotionally—will not be tolerated.
    • Punctuality: Please arrive on time and honor class start and end times.
    • Supervision: Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while on-site.
    • Cleanliness: Everyone shares responsibility for keeping the facility clean and organized.
       
  2. Parents’ Rights
    • To be informed of all scheduled activities, events, and any changes to the calendar or policies.
    • To have a voice in co-op planning, curriculum, and leadership decisions through regular meetings or feedback opportunities.
    • To review and access lesson plans, safety procedures, and co-op records as needed.
    • To withdraw their child at any time from a class or the coop, provided they give adequate notice.
    • To have freedom of teaching within an unanimously appropriate range (we want you to have all the freedom, please don’t abuse it)
    • *refund of fees will be situational and made as fair for parents and teachers alike*
       
  3. Parents’ Responsibilities
    • Participation: At least one parent from each family is expected to volunteer in some capacity (teaching, assisting, setup/cleanup, etc.).
    • Communication: Notify the co-op leadership of absences, concerns, or conflicts in a timely and respectful manner.
    • Supervision: Be responsible for your child’s behavior and well-being on-site and ensure they follow the co-op rules.
    • Preparation: Provide any required materials or fees for classes and support your child’s learning at home.
    • Support: Encourage a cooperative spirit and help maintain a peaceful, God-honoring environment.
    • Every family is responsible for feeding their own family on enrichment class days unless a special day/meal is posted ahead of time *snacks may at times be provided during classes by the teacher so please still fill out the allergy portion of the registration form.
       
  4. Expectations for Children
    • Be Respectful – Toward teachers, peers, materials, and the facility.
    • Be Ready to Learn – Come prepared with necessary supplies when needed and an attitude of curiosity.
    • Follow Instructions – Listen to teachers and parent volunteers the first time.
    • Stay with the Group – No running off or being in unsupervised areas.
    • Use Kind Words and Actions – No bullying, name-calling, or exclusionary behavior.
    • Help Clean Up – Everyone contributes to keeping the space tidy.
       
  5. Discipline Policy
    • First Offense: Verbal reminder and redirection.
    • Second Offense: Parent is notified.
    • Third Offense: Possible removal from class or the remainder of the day, followed by a discussion with leadership.
    • Ongoing Issues: May result in dismissal from the co-op.
       
  6. Health and Safety
    • Please do not bring children who are sick or have had a fever within the last 24 hours.
    • Notify co-op leadership of any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs.
    • Emergency contact info must be current and on file.

  Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement  
  • Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk

    I understand that participation in the activities, events, and educational programs (“Activities”) organized by Free Range Homeschool Coop (“the Co-op”) may involve risk of injury, illness, or property damage. I acknowledge that I am voluntarily allowing my child(ren) and myself to participate in these Activities and that I assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with such participation, including but not limited to physical injury, illness (including contagious diseases such as COVID-19), or accidents.
     
  • Release and Waiver of Liability

    I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Free Range Homeschool Coop, its volunteers, members, organizers, officers, agents, and affiliated entities from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or relating to participation in Co-op Activities, including those caused by negligence.
     
  • Medical Emergencies

    In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize the Co-op volunteers or representatives to secure appropriate treatment for my child(ren) and myself. I agree to be responsible for all costs related to such treatment.
     
  • Supervision

    I understand that I am responsible for the supervision of my child(ren) during Co-op Activities unless I have made specific arrangements with another adult and notified the Co-op in writing.
     
  • Code of Conduct

    I agree that I and my child(ren) will abide by the rules, expectations, and code of conduct established by Free Range Homeschool Coop. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in removal from Activities or dismissal from the Co-op
