Jordan & Cassie Timpy To All Instructors

Jordan & Cassie Timpy both received their Bachelor of Arts degrees in photojournalism and visual communication from one of the nation’s top journalism schools — The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s School of Media and Journalism. This is also where they met and fell in love. Since graduating in 2009-10, they have worked professionally doing photography and video storytelling for various magazines, newspapers, and nonprofit organizations. Their last desk jobs were in the DC Metro area where Jordan was photo editor at Ranger Rick, Jr. magazine and Cassie was a video producer for the Federal Aviation Administration.

In 2015, they felt the Lord’s call to step out in faith and leave the best jobs of their career in order to serve ministries and nonprofit organizations around the world with visual storytelling, which turned into their full-time ministry and business for the past decade. They are North Carolina natives and after 12 years of marriage and traveling to nearly 60 countries together, they returned to Cassie's hometown of Southern Pines and welcomed their first child, Elisha, in 2026.
