Teens in YEAH

Teens in YEAH have many opportunities to build lasting friendships, grow in leadership, serve others, and strengthen their faith and walk with God. With a variety of programs and activities available, there is something for every personality and interest.

YEAH Co-op is often the first place teens connect. Through grade-level classes and elective classes, students have opportunities to learn together, spend time with peers, and build meaningful friendships in a fun and engaging setting.

Student Council is open to all 6th–12th grade YEAH members. Student Council gives students the chance to develop leadership skills, connect with other teens, help plan special teen events, and organize service opportunities within the community. Students who demonstrate strong faith, character, and leadership may also have opportunities to serve in executive officer positions.

Beta Club is open to eligible 9th–12th grade YEAH members who meet chapter requirements for membership and induction. Beta Club provides additional opportunities for leadership development, service projects, academic encouragement, and friendships with fellow students.

YEAH Yearbook Staff is open to all 7th–12th grade YEAH members. Students can develop skills in photography, layout design, editing, writing, and teamwork while helping create a lasting record of the YEAH year. Students who meet established participation requirements may also earn graduation cords.

Prom Committee is a fun and rewarding way for students to be involved in one of YEAH’s most anticipated events. Open to all 6th–12th grade YEAH members (with many members also serving on Student Council), this team helps plan the YEAH Prom each year. Students gain experience in event planning, vendor selection, theme development, teamwork, and working within a budget.

Academic Lettering Opportunities are available for qualifying students. Teens who meet established academic criteria may earn academic letters and recognition for their hard work and achievement.

National Service Honor Award Opportunities are also available through YEAH’s participation in this program. Students who meet the required service criteria may earn recognition for their volunteer efforts and will be honored at YEAH’s end-of-year celebration and membership gathering.

Whether your teen enjoys leadership, creativity, service, planning events, or simply building friendships with other homeschool students, YEAH offers meaningful ways to get involved.
