Our Story
Seed Starters was born from my lifelong passion for education and my heart for helping children discover the joy of learning.
As a former public school teacher, I loved watching students experience those moments when something finally clicked. Seeing children who once doubted themselves begin to believe they could succeed was one of the greatest joys of my career.
Over time, however, I felt God leading me to invest more deeply in my own family. I stepped away from the classroom to homeschool my children a decision that became one of the greatest blessings of our lives.
Homeschooling gave us more than flexibility. It gave us time together, strengthened our family relationships, and allowed us to experience learning as a shared adventure. Like many parents, I had moments of uncertainty, especially as my children entered high school. It was the encouragement of another homeschool family that gave me the confidence to keep going.
That experience planted the seed for Seed Starters.
I wanted to create the kind of community that had once encouraged me—a place where families feel welcomed, supported, and equipped to thrive.
Today, Seed Starters brings families together through field trips, park days, educational resources, and meaningful connections.

Meet the Founder
Hello! I'm Lola Battle.
I'm a former public school teacher, a homeschool mom of more than ten years, and the founder of Seed Starters.
Throughout my journey as an educator, one truth has remained constant: every child is capable of learning when they are loved, encouraged, and given the opportunity to grow in ways that honor their unique gifts.
I believe education is about much more than academics. It's about building confidence, developing character, encouraging curiosity, and helping children discover the purpose God has placed within them.
My heart is to come alongside families, encourage parents, and create opportunities for children to learn through meaningful experiences, strong relationships, and a supportive community.
