Mission Statement

Veritas Catholic Academy is a homeschool support group which provides networking and support among Catholic homeschooling families in the greater Cedar Rapids, Iowa area.  We do so in full accordance with the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church.  We hold fast to the sacraments and look to the Holy Family for our example in living out our daily vocations.

Some of our primary activities and offerings include:

o   gathering as a community to celebrate Mass on First Fridays 

o   annual family picnic

o   semimonthly indoor ice-skating during the colder months

o   weekly park days during the warmer months

o   monthly ladies' nights out (e.g., coffee and fellowship)

o   other activities as organized by members

Through our forum, members can share prayer requests and other communication with the group.
