Classical Conversations Parent Practicum
I'm thrilled to announce that we're having a one-day homeschool event in Rapid City on July 9th! It's a one-day Parent Practicum. What's that? It's a day of enlightenment, encouragement and equipping in the Christian classical model of education. We'll spend our morning learning about and discussing the tools of learning and how we can apply them to any and all subjects through all stages and seasons of life. Our afternoon will be full of time for Q & A, bookstore shopping and workshops on seasons of the homeschool life, managing technology with children, and we will conclude the day with an explanation of Classical Conversations Community programming.
There will be academic camps provided for children ages 0-12, and teens are welcome to volunteer, attend with their parents or request attendance in the speech camp. The cost is FREE for the entire day, excluding lunch, which is spent with families. You may bring bagged lunches or eat offsite at a local eatery from 12-1.
Our camps are: Nursery/Art (0-4), Geography & Art (age 5-12). Age 13 and up can be helpers. Please plan to pack a snack and water bottle for each camper.
