2023-24 Graduation

Graduation is quickly approaching and preparations are underway.


Graduating Seniors please ensure that you have the following items submitted to the appropriate person on or before April 1, 2024:

1. Email exactly 12 photos to Greg Harris at gregharris@ngatechurch.org – NO LATER than April 1, 2024.

  1. Rename your photos and list them in chronological order, starting with baby and ending with a current photo/senior picture. (Example: photo 1, photo 2, photo 3, photo 4, etc.)
  2. Please include the exact spelling of how you’d like the graduates name to appear during the slideshow (full name with or without a middle name or initial…)
  3. Photos should be as high resolution as possible.


2. Students should be working on a biography which will be audio recorded at the end of April and played during the slideshow. 

  1. This needs to be as close to 1 minute in length as possible and written in 1st person point of view (example: I was born…my interests are…I plan to…). 
  2. Please rehearse this ahead of time so all graduates have the same duration during the slideshow.  


3. Decide on one photo for your “headshot” picture in the program (1 MB or larger). 

  • This needs to be emailed to Alisha Floan by April 1, 2024.  Email to: alishajoy@gmail.com
  • Alisha also needs the exact spelling of how your name should appear in the program, names of parents for the program, and your hometown. 


4. The written biography for the program also needs to be emailed to Alisha by April 1, 2024. It can be like the audio version but changed slightly to be written in 3rd person point of view. (Example: “Kailee is the oldest of three…she loves to be outdoors…she plans to…”).

  1. 200 words maximum – including a favorite Bible verse you’d like printed in the program (optional).
  2. Possible things to include in your biography are when/where born, family, personality, hobbies/interests, faith, plans after high school. 


5. Advice to your future self.

  • Students need to write down 2-3 pieces of advice to give to your future self (10 years in the future). One serious, one funny, and the third one is up to you!
  • These will be recorded at the end of April with the audio biography and compiled into a video.
  • This will be played before and after the ceremony in the foyer and in the auditorium.
