Homeschool Safari At the Zoo
Homeschool Programs for 6-12 year olds
Discover the natural world through a variety of interactive experiences! Each month a different topic is offered. Come to a few or attend them all! Programs include a classroom lesson, hands-on activity or game, live animal visitor or special animal experience and a walk in the Zoo.
- WHAT: Conservation Quest - Finish out the school year exploring the many ways you can contribute toward the conservation of your home, our planet and the plants and animals on it!
- WHERE: Conservation Education Building
- WHEN: Morning and afternoon classes are offered. Each class lasts 1 1/2 hours.
- 10:30 AM Class Dates: May 6, 7, 8, 11, 13, 15
- 2:30 PM Class Dates: May 4, 5, 12, 14
- COST: $9 per student plus Zoo admission. Parents and siblings may observe the program free of charge, but must pay Zoo admission. Non-registered siblings must be supervised by an adult.
