Steps to Join Cornerstone

Please read the following thoroughly...


1.  Browse the information provided on our web site.  If you believe that Cornerstone would be a good fit for your family and you want to learn more, you will need to request membership.  A link is provided at the bottom of this page.


2.  Once you have submitted your request for membership, you will need to schedule an interview with our board members.  Interviews and potential shadow days will take place on a Monday.  Interviews should be completed prior to the last Monday in April for the upcoming school year.  If you are inquiring about our co-op after the end of April, an interview may be scheduled over the summer.  Dates are still to be determined.

If you do not contact us to schedule an interview, we will not approve membership.  If we have not heard from you within 2 weeks after submitting your membership request, you will have to reapply.  Any questions, please contact us.


3.  By joining Cornerstone, you are certifying that you are home educating your children according to the state of Maryland law.  For questions, visit the following link with COMAR regulations.


4.  Once you have requested membership, interviewed with our board, and determined by both the board and your family that Cornerstone is a good fit, you will then be allowed access to the private side of our web site to register for classes.
