What is a Cooperative?

Clarion County Home Schoolers (hereinafter referred to as CCHS) is a cooperative organization formed for the purpose of uniting Christian homeschooling families in Clarion County and the surrounding areas for the purpose of education, fellowship, and support.

A cooperative is an organization owned by and operated for the benefit of members who use its services. In order for the services of the cooperative to exist, it is imperative that all members commit to serving in an active role in the operation of the organization.

Our Purpose
CCHS is an organization where homeschooling families join together to help meet each other’s homeschooling needs in acooperative spirit. As a Christian homeschool support group, our goals are the following:
- to work together in unity to promote biblical worldview, Christian principles and godly character in our children in all aspects of CCHS activities and functions,
- to provide educational opportunities that are difficult, impossible or not cost-effective to do at home, and
- to help parents in the art of homeschooling.

Some of our great co-op classes are:

Chemistry, Home Ec, Drama, Choir, Art, PA History, Science, Geography, Book Club, Music, First Aid, Career Exploration, and more!!!!
