"Education is not the filling of a bucket, but the lighting of a fire."  --William Butler Yeats

El Shaddai Christian Academy is a non-profit private school, which functions under the Colorado non-public school law.   Essentially we operate as a private school where students are taught at home by their parents.  We are committed to assisting Christian parents who are dedicated to God, their family, and home education.

Academic excellence is one component of this training.  We expect teacher/parents to be diligent and consistent in edcuating their children utilizing methods they believe are best suited for their family.  We do not provide curriculum, but we will provide curriculum guidance.  We also do not hold classes or activities, but we are connected with those resources and will do our best to help you find what your family needs.

ESCA is run by an administrator and a board of directors, who want to make it feasible for families to homeschool their children as long as possible.  The Board of Directors represents over 40 combined years of experience in home education.  We strongly recommend enrollment with Home School Legal Defense Association (504-338-5600).  ESCA is not responsible for any legal problems you may incur in the course of home educating.

We provide the following services: basic curriculum guidance, record keeping, letters of recommendation, high school transcripts, high school diplomas, and report cards upon request.  We can also hold test records for families who filed a Notice of Intent.
