I understand that Soaring High Christian Homeschool Group (hereinafter “Soaring High”) is not a program, class, or school, and Soaring High in no way assumes any responsibility for my children. I understand that as a parent, I am responsible for the safety, well-being, and behavior of my children at all times, including Soaring High meetings, Soaring High field trips, and other Soaring High activities. I understand that it is never appropriate to drop my child off at a Soaring High event without arranging for my child’s specific supervision, which will not be provided by the leaders of any Soaring High event. If arrangements are made for a non-parent to supervise a child, this arrangement is privately between the parents of the children and the person asked to supervise the children and bears no relationship to Soaring High or its leaders or members. Soaring High may require the presence of a parent or legal guardian during certain Soaring High-sponsored events. Because I retain full responsibility for my child under all circumstances, I release Soaring High, its leaders, and its members from any and all liability for any illness, injury, or harm of any kind to my children.
I understand that Soaring High has permission to use Walloon Lake Community Church, 4320 M-75 N, Walloon Lake, MI 49796, for various activities and that Walloon Lake Community Church is completely independent of Soaring High. I acknowledge that Walloon Lake Community Church do not plan, administer, or oversee any of the programs or activities of Soaring High. I further acknowledge that any involvement of members, attendees, or staff of Walloon Lake Community Church is on a personal/independent level and does not represent Walloon Lake Community Church. Therefore, I release Walloon Lake Community Church from all liability in connection with the events/activities/programs of Soaring High.
I understand that Soaring High does not guarantee an allergy-free zone.
In addition to the Soaring High Release of Liability, I understand it is my responsibility to know and meet the State of Michigan requirements for educating my children.
