Band Informational Meeting
If you have a 4-9 grade child who is interested in learning a band instrument or already plays, come hear about band. Jen Mulvihill, the band director will be giving an overview of the instruments, lessons, band practice, concerts, schedule and much more.
Here are a few details:
Instruments-Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Percussion
Will meet Tuesday afternoons at Grace Church for lessons and band practice
Group Lessons (same instrument) will be 30 minutes
Band rehearsal (all instruments) will be an hour

Jen Mulvihill is the WINGS Band Director and one of the instructors. Jen holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Northwestern with an emphasis in instrumental music and flute performance. Her teaching experiences include 8 years teaching elementary and high school band in both public and private school settings. Jen has a passion for teaching music and launched our band last year as well as band programs in the Rochester Public Schools and at Schaeffer Academy in Rochester, MN. In addition, Jen has over fifteen years of highly successful flute instruction; many of her students going on to pursue careers in music. Jen is married to Josh and home schools her five children.
