FAQS

What is The Learning Tree Homeschool Co-op?

The Learning Tree Co-op provides both enrichment and academic classes for a ten week session in the fall, six week session in the winter, and six week session in the spring.

When and where does The Learning Tree meet?

We will meet on Thursdays from 10:45am-2:45pm at Clover Pass Community Church, beginning September 4, 2025. Families can attend all or part of the co-op day, depending on the needs of their family, but are encouraged to stay from Morning Assembly through a quick end-of-day clean up.

What ages and grades have classes at The Learning Tree Co-op?

Our desire is to have childcare or classes for babies through high school! Come be a part and make this co-op a success for all ages.

How much does the co-op cost?

Since all parents are required to volunteer and/or teach, or assist, in a class, costs will be kept low.

A $40 family registration fee will be charged at the beginning of the fall session that goes towards cost of the website ($10/family) and expenses incurred by the hosting church.

The class prices are set by the individual teachers and can vary greatly depending on the teacher's training and experience, age and skill level of the students being taught, the amount of planning required, etc. Some classes will have an additional supply fee.

Parents will pay the class fees directly to the tutor, either in person or through our website.

Can I drop off my child?

We do not replace parents teaching their children, and in fact require parents to stay on site. In true co-op fashion, we expect parents to meaningfully contribute by volunteering every week in some area, such as set up or clean up, nursery, administration, assisting in classrooms, etc. This keeps costs down and allows families to maintain involvement and awareness of what their children are being taught. Parents are also encouraged to teach a class for a small reimbursement.

What behavioral standard will you have for the children?

Parents, teachers, and students will all sign a code of conduct. We desire for this to be a joyful, safe, productive learning environment for everyone.

Is a background check needed?

YES! All adults on the premises during co-op day, whether church members, parents, teachers, or children over 18, will need a background check done within the past two years.
