SRCH exists to strengthen the homeschool community by providing support, encouragement and opportunities to homeschooling families, bringing glory to God. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere that fosters the love and challenge of learning while promoting and teaching Christian values. We offer enrichment and academic classes from a Biblical Christian worldview for students from preschool through high school in an environment, which stresses Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
Solid Rock Christian Homeschool Cooperative meets Thursday mornings from September through April at Christ the Rock Community Church. There are 3 class periods with varying enrichment and academic courses for preschool through high school as well as a family chapel time for worship with a short sermon geared towards kids. The school day runs from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Classes vary in cost, depending on curriculums and materials. A parent or guardian is required to be on campus while his/her children are attending co-op and is assigned duties during a portion of that time. When parents have completed assigned duties, they may enjoy coffee and friends in the Parent Room. Families are not required to attend all three hours of co-op, but all students (ages 0-18) must be registered in a class for every hour that they are attending co-op.
