FAQs

HGHE information

Q:

Is HGHE a co-op?

A:

No, HGHE is a homeschool support group. We get together for field trips, group parties, park days, support for parents and lots of other fun things. We do often have enrichment classes, but these aren't meant to be a whole curriculum.

Q:

What are the requirements for membership?

A:

Because this is a Christian homeschool support group, we require members to be professing Christians. Each family must be homeschooling at least one student in K-4 – 12th grade during the current school year and pay annual dues ($40 for new members or $30 for returning members, non refundable). Our group is based on shared responsibility. We encourage one another and participate as much as we are able by being a part of planning meetings and helping to coordinate field trips or activities during the school year. Parents must also strive to support one another and promote unity within the group.
