SHINE MINISTRIES OVERVIEW

2017-2018

Parents' Support Ministry

Our group offers many activities for moms, dads and both together throughout the year. Current Moms' activities include: monthly Moms' Night Out/Bunco nights, various workshops and discussion meetings, craft days and parties.

We have also been offering opportunities for the dads to get to know each other. Some of the Dads' activities include: Dads' bible study, Dads' bowling, Dads' service opportunities and Dads' appreciation breakfast.

Please visit the Parents' Support Page for more detailed information!

Family Ministry

These activities include a variety of age groups and often the whole family. Past activities have included: field trips, field day, picnics, symphony concerts, and children's plays. The Young SHINEr's Group, and PreTeen Boys and Girls groups fall under this ministry. The yearly Graduation for our homeschooled Seniors is also offered.

Please visit the Family Ministry Page for information about activities for the current year!

Teen Ministry

These activities are to encourage friendships with other homeschooled students and learn about serving others. Past activities have included mini-golfing, bowling, game nights and service projects. Two dances are held each year for our teens--one in the fall and one in the spring along with a fun Theme dinner in the fall.

Please visit the Teen Ministry Page for information about activities for the current year!

Co-op Ministry

Co-op is Friday morning enrichment classes taught by parents and some guest teachers. Enrollment is limited due to space and nursery/preschool constraints. Co-op requires additional fees based on the classes offered. Thankful Hearts (an evening for our co-op students to share their talents and projects) is also held at the end of each semester.

Please visit the Co-op Ministry Page for more information!
