BCHE Senior Graduation Information

In mid-February of the graduation year, we will have an information meeting. All information about this meeting will be posted on our forum and calendar! Please contact the Senior Graduation Coordinator, Donna Estes, mnestes@hotmail.com or (760) 453-1762 with any questions.

Rehearsal:

A Mandatory rehearsal will be held before the graduation date

Cost:

-$100 (DVD, cap, gown, tassel and diploma cover)

-$75 (cap, gown, tassel and diploma cover)

-$60 (tassel and diploma cover only)

-$25 (extra DVD’s)

Cap, Gown, Tassel and Diploma Cover: The cap, gown, and diploma cover will be navy and the tassel will be silver. We will be making a group order for you from Economy Cap & Gown to ensure consistency in color and style. You may borrow a previous BCHE graduate’s cap and gown if they graduated no earlier than 2016. Each graduate must sign up on the calendar by the deadline date listed, even if ordering only a tassel and diploma cover.

Ceremony: The ceremony details will be given at the information meeting. BCHE offers a professional and special ceremony that includes: a professionally printed color program that lists each graduate’s senior photo and biography, a guest speaker from the community, a slideshow of photos of the graduates, graduate speakers, and intimate words written from the parents to the graduates as they present the graduate with their diploma.

Reception: A grab-n-go reception will immediately follow the ceremony in the atrium outside the FBC sanctuary. Individually wrapped cookies and bottled water will be provided. Juniors and parents of Juniors will be asked to help with decorating, setting up, serving, and cleaning up afterwards. 

Displays: Each graduate will be allotted half of a 6’ or 8’ rectangular table to set up a display. This can be as simple or as elaborate as you desire, ranging from a framed senior photo to a tri-fold display board. Feel free to display photos, awards, medals, trophies, items from hobbies, etc. A tablecloth will be provided.

Required steps to participate in BCHE graduation:

1. Become a member of BCHE

2. Sign up for the graduation event on the BCHE calender (accessible to members only) AND select the preferred cap/gown/diploma package on the sign up page. The deadline for signing up and placing your order is typically mid-March.

3. Complete the Senior Graduation Registration iForm (accessible to members only), including photo submissions (see form for photo requirements). The deadline for this is typically mid-March.
