2012 Homeschool Conventions

June 5-7, 2014 in Richmond, VA
Highlights: Largest vendor hall in the state; largest used curriculum sale in the state; FREE How-to-Begin-Homeschooling Workshops; FREE admission to qualifying parents of preschoolers; children's program; Generation Joshua Teen Programs; Dissection Lab; Essay Writing Clinic; Chess Championship; Music Competition; and many workshops to choose from. March 21-22, Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen
Highlights: This year for the first time, we offer a slate of Friday sessions, kicking off at 1:00 p.m. on March 21 with Susan Wise Bauer’s dynamic keynote address. The Friday schedule also includes our time-honored free sessions for non-homeschoolers and beginning homeschooling families. Sessions continue on Saturday, March 22, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The popular Family Programming includes many science sessions, storytelling, talent show, ice cream social, a jam session, a program from the Virginia Opera, plus more! And visit the Exhibit Has and the the Used Resource Sale!

This year's theme, Living Water, is based on John 7:37-38 Jesus declared that if anyone is thirsty, he should come to Him and drink. The one who believes will have streams of living water flow from deep within Him. The Real Refreshment speakers are women who have learned to drink from the streams of Living Water while fulfulling their God given roles.
