Empowering Young Learners. Bridging the Digital Divide. Creating Lasting Equity.

At Free Range Learning Cooperative, Inc., we believe that education should be joyful, inclusive, and accessible to all. We are a parent-run nonprofit homeschool community in Northeast Florida serving over 150 K–12 students each week—children of all abilities, backgrounds, and dreams.

Right now, we’re raising $54,000 to build our first-ever Library & Computer Lab, and we need your help to make it a reality.

 Why It Matters

In a world where technology and literacy are gateways to opportunity, too many children are being left behind. Especially those with:

  • Speech delays

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Dyslexia or ADHD

  • Learning differences that traditional systems overlook

At FRLC, our mission is to change that.

Our students learn coding through LEGO WeDo, write their own yearbooks, and explore digital art—all powered by curiosity, not privilege. But we lack the tools and space to let every child thrive.

  • 14 computer stations with adaptive and educational software

  • A sensory-friendly environment for focused learning

  • Tools for creative expression—digital art, robotics, writing, and more

  • Resources for students who do not have devices or internet at home

This space will be a sanctuary of access—a bridge across the digital divide.

How We’ll Measure Success

This is more than a room. It’s a launchpad. We’ll track:

  • Book check-outs, lab hours, and class projects completed

  • Student-created yearbooks and robotics success stories

  • Gains in reading confidence and tech skills

  • Individual progress from neurodivergent learners using adaptive tools
