Member Benefits

Hartsville Home Educators (HHE), located in Hartsville, SC, has united for the purpose of offering families who homeschool enouragement, support, educational programs through our Co-op, and activities for member families.

Memers of HHE offer support to each other through:

Encouragement

Each year we hold a Parents Banquet for those who are primarily responsible for the teaching of their children.  We come together early in the new school year for a wonderful evening of fellowship and fun.  This provides an opportunity for new members to meet veteran members, who share their adventures in homeschooling.  

Support
Mother's Night Out (MNO) meetings are held several times a year to provide fellowship and support.  Our meetings not only encourage us as moms but also cover topics such as giving insight to curriculum choices and building a portfolio for our children.  

Educational Programs
HHE's Co-op has grown tremendously over the past few years.  We offer weekly educational courses for Preschool through 12th grade.  Member mothers and fathers volunteer in the teaching of the various courses.  

Activities for Children
Age Level Coordinators work to provide each age level with activities during the year.  These activities include game nights, parties, field trips, and so much more.

An "Academic Achievement Night" is held at the end of the school year for all member children to participate in.  This is a night that brings recognition to each child and highlights our High School Graduates.

Staying in Touch
Each member is added to an email loop in order to receive up to date information about HHE.  This website provides a secured member section that showcases the activities of the children, our Co-op schedule, and our calendar of opportunities.
