About Us
Welcome to TEACH Texarkana, a thriving group of Christian families who agree that it is our God-given honor and responsibility to teach and train our children and who enjoy sharing this amazing journey with other like-minded families.
TEACH Texarkana offers a wide variety of activities for all ages. Monthly events include our Monthly Meetings, Park Days, Field Trips, Moms Nights Out and age-specific events for kids and teens. Each fall and spring, Cooperative (Co-op) Enrichment Classes are offered for one day each week, over a period of five weeks. For those wishing to participate, the Christmas and Valentine holidays are observed with activity parties for member children. Throughout the year, family gatherings are held as well as a TEACH graduation at the end of the year. More information can be obtained via the FAQs page.
We normally meet for our Monthly Meetings on the first Thursdays from August through May from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM unless otherwise noted. Non-members are welcome to visit our Monthly Meetings which are open to the public. Our members are encouraged to keep a keen eye on our calendar that stays packed full of activities by our fantastic activity directors. If you are connected on social media, we can be found on our public Facebook page (TEACH Texarkana Homeschool Group) and on Instagram (TEACH Texarkana). For our members, we have a more family-like private Facebook group where we share all the things: announcements, joys, concerns, activity pictures, and much more. Members also have access to our website. This website features many resources to help you in your homeschooling journey:
