For a detailed overview of each role, including those best suited for parents with young children, please refer to the ‘Volunteer Roles & Descriptions'.
Each parent/guardian must complete two volunteer roles, totaling 2 hours during the G.I.F.T. day. Teaching a class or helping as a classroom aide both count as one hour each.
You can sign up for volunteer roles using this matrix below. To be a Classroom Aide, sign up directly through the class. Both follow the same process as registering for classes.
If positions appear full / closed or you're unsure what works with your schedule, our Volunteer Coordinator is happy to help you find a role that fits.
