Placement Tests
To find the most appropriate class level for success at BHC, students are required to complete placement tests for some Upper School classes. All new students, rising 7th graders from BHC Lower School, and current students who have not successfully completed math, English, or Spanish courses at BHC in the 2026-2027 school year will be required to take placement tests. These tests will be proctored by BHC teachers on the campus of The Church at Brook Hills.
Dates for the placement testing and registration links will be posted to this page by February 2027.
To accurately assess which placement test fits your student's education/skills, please see the key concepts listed below for each subject/class. If your student has proficiency in those concepts, they are prepared to take that particular test. For example, the list of concepts under Spanish 2 are not what a student will learn in Spanish 2 this coming year. It is the list of concepts a student needs to be proficient in after completing Spanish 1.

Lower School:
Placement testing is not required in the Lower School at this time. Please reference the BHC Lower School Expected Skills list below for grade-level expectations.
