June 6 | Ed-ZOO-cational | Join us as the animal experts from Caldwell Zoo introduce us to different types of animals. |
June 13 | Sing with the Birds with Ranger Boyd from Tyler State Park | “Who-cooks-for-you?” Who says “Teacher, teacher, pretty, pretty?” What’s a blue bird that screams, “Jay, jay!”? Find out the answers when we learn how to identify birds by the sounds they make. Learn tricks to remember their songs and calls and then we’ll try to sing like the birds. |
June 20 | Mr. Mike and his violin, mandolin, and more! | Learn about the instruments and the different styles of music that can be played on each. |
June 27 | Sound Stations | Make a set of maracas, test a water xylophone, use percussion instruments to match a rhythm chart, and create your own jazz painting. |
