Voices of Faith Family Swing Dance
Family Swing Dance on Friday, August 18, from 6:00-9:00 at the Southern Oaks Baptist Church gymnasium. The Al Fine Little Big Band will be providing the live music and there will be a dance lesson right at 6:00, so be on time so you don't miss that! Please bring a hearty snack to share, such as little smokies, cheese and crackers, small sandwiches, fruit and other fun finger food. Many people enjoy dressing in 1940s style clothing for the dance: twirly dresses and skirts and polka dots for the gals and for the guys, slacks and button-up shirts, bow ties, and suspenders. If you don't have these items, come anyway! If you have friends interested in choir, please bring them as well. It is always a lot of fun for the whole family.
