Welcome to Constance Homeschool Co-op!
Educating Through Christ
"Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance."
The purpose of our co-op is to be a Christ-centered community that utilizes shared resources to provide homeschool families with educational enrichment opportunities.
Our vision is to be a grace-filled community of Christian homeschool families regularly offering expanded educational opportunities while continually supporting and encouraging one another in the faith.
Constance Homeschool Co-op (CHC) is truly a "cooperative" where all members pool a portion of their time, treasure and talent for the benefit of everyone in the group. We support parents as they educate their children about Christ and the world around them and equip children to be a positive influence on our culture and world for Christ. As a Christian ministry, we rely on God's inspired Word, the Bible, to direct and lead us in all things. Our goals are:
- To nurture character development, Christian values, and a biblical worldview
- To provide positive social opportunities on co-op days as well as through field trips and outreach programs
- To supplement curriculum areas that are more difficult to provide in a homeschool setting
- To support homeschool families through prayer and relationships
In the spring of each school year, the Board, Co-op coordinators and members meet to determine the classes to be offered in the upcoming year. We strive to provide classes that will benefit a wide range of students. Our classes are taught by both volunteer parents and paid professional teachers.
Our co-op classes are held at Constance Free Church in Andover, MN on two Friday mornings a month during the school year for children Pre-K through 12th grade.
We welcome new members! If you would like to be placed on our waitlist and considered for membership for the next co-op year (2018-19) please select "join" at the top of the page and take a moment to fill out a profile. This will act as your placeholder when we evaluate the wait list in the spring and helps us determine if we can accommodate the ages and grades of your student(s). Our wait list opens up once the current year's registration closes on May 30. Those who remain on the wait list before May 30 will have priority over those who join the waitlist after May 30. You will be contacted mid-April if we have space for your family. At that time, you may also return to this page to see the classes that were selected for the upcoming year under Class Registration. Thank you for your interest in CHC and be sure to check out the FAQ's section for more information about our co-op.
Please email the Director if you would like to schedule a tour of the co-op.
