About Us

Southwest Georgia Homeschool Association (SWGHA) is an organization of families that promotes home education and is dedicated to observing the Biblical commands of Deuteronomy 6:4-5, Leviticus 19:18c and Deuteronomy 6:6-7:

"These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."

SWGHA is a Christian organization of homeschoolers. We are open to Christians of all affiliations and non-Christians as well; however, all should understand that we are committed to Biblical standards in all that we do. This includes during the field trips we choose, the standards of behavior we endeavor to exhibit, and the way we interact with one another.

SWGHA is proudly volunteer-led association, with members working together to create meaningful opportunities for homeschooling families throughout Southwest Georgia.
