I (We) hereby agree to be fully responsible for the conduct and actions of myself and my child(ren). I (We) understand that myself and my child(ren)’s safety relies primarily on their own responsible conduct.  Despite precautions taken, I (We) understand that accidents and injuries may occur involving myself and my child(ren), as well as damages to personal or any property. I (We) accept responsibility for these potential outcomes from myself and my child(ren)’s participation in Mankato Homeschool Connection’s co-op classes and activities and I (we) agree to bear all associated risks.

I (We) agree to release and hold harmless Mankato Homeschool Connection, its board and leadership team members, teachers, volunteers, fellow parents, and students from any and all liability, claims, or demands for any accidents or injuries which may occur during participation in the co-op or any class or extra activity/event/field trip held by the group.

I (We) will not hold liable Mankato Homeschool Connection and its board and leadership team members, teachers, volunteers, fellow parents, and students, who supervise the activities at Mankato Homeschool Connection, regarding any and all decisions that are made to the best of their ability and in the best interest myself and my child(ren). Furthermore, any and all medical expenses for myself and my child(ren) incurred due to these incidents would be my responsibility, and I (We) agree not to seek out payment or compensation from Mankato Homeschool Connection.

I (We) also agree to release and hold harmless River Ridge Church, its volunteers, and employees from any and all liability, claims, or demands for any accident or injury occurring while participating in co-op activities on their property.

I (We) fully acknowledge and agree that neither Mankato Homeschool Connection or River Ridge Church or any of their board and leadership team members, teachers, volunteers, employees, fellow parents, and students bear any liability for personal injuries/accidents or property damage/s that may arise due to myself or my child(ren)’s involvement in any and all of Mankato Homeschool Connection’s activities.  I (We) accept responsibility to cover any monetary damages caused by myself and my child(ren).

I (We) understand that, while every effort will be made to avoid any food allergens I (We) have listed in my membership application for my child(ren), accidental exposure may occur because Mankato Homeschool Connection cannot guarantee an allergy-free zone in any of our meeting locations. I (We) agree to release and hold harmless the group, its board and leadership team members,teachers, volunteers, fellow parents, and students from any liability, claims, or demands for any accident or injury due to accidental allergen exposure.

I (We) understand that if at any time I (We) feel that a situation or activity at Mankato Homeschool Connection or any extra function is unsafe for my child(ren) for any reason (including, but not limited to, health concerns, physical limitations, emotional limitations, or a general concern for safety) it is my (our) responsibility to remove my (our) child(ren) from that situation. 

I (We) understand that, while every effort will be made to lessen the risk of the spread of communicable diseases/illnesses, Mankato Homeschool Connection, River Ridge Church, the board and leadership team, teachers, volunteers, fellow parents, and students cannot be held liable for any illnesses and corresponding expenses that arise due to exposure at regular co-op times or extra activities.
