Grades 3-5    Sandburg Through Time
House Tour (30 minutes)
Barn visit (30 minutes)
Prairie Town Boy (30 minutes)
Video and Bookstore (30 minutes

Arrival
1. 9:45am in main parking lot. Please leave lunches and coolers on the bus
2. Greeting by park ranger. If you do not see the ranger please use the phone in the parking lot to call the house.
3. Bathroom stop
4. Trek up hill

Introduction
10:00 am welcome in amphitheater (house garage, if raining)
What is the NPS? and Why does this place exist?
Students placed in groups to begin rotations.

Lunch
Carry in, carry out encouraged; limited trash services
No concessions in park, no place to store food; busses and coolers suggested
You may picnic at the picnic tables, in the amphitheater or in the field across from the barn.
