About Us

Del Rio Homeschool Group, formerly The Next Generation, started with a few like-minded moms who wanted to provide a group environment for their children to engage in educational/enrichment activities with other home educated children. From there, we have grown into a group of over 40 families that meet weekly for a time of fellowship and to further expand the reach of our home based education. We are located in Del Rio, Texas.

Whether you are new to home based education, a seasoned veteran, or a family contemplating the idea, Del Rio Homeschool Group can help you, the teacher, as well as your children. We seek, with the Lord's guidance to provide activities and classes for our children that enrich their education, as well as provide a supportive environment for the families.

To ensure that we are functioning with the same like-minded and biblically-centered approach, we have developed a handbook that outlines rules for parents and students, as well as requirements of each family. If you have reviewed the handbook and share the same desires that we have for our children, we invite you to complete the registration form to initiate the enrollment process.  A board member from Del Rio Homeschool Group will contact you regarding your form to complete the process.
