Axis Code of Conduct

As a member of Axis you agree to honor the Code of Conduct and the enforcement of it to best protect all Axis families and the integrity of our group.

The following are expectations for behavior at any Axis run event, field trip or program, including but not limited to our co-op days. Behavior in violation of the Axis code of conduct will be responded to with a 3-strike policy:

Strike 1 – Written violation addressed by Leadership and signed by Leadership Member, Student in offense & Parent

Strike 2 – Sit down meeting with both parents & leadership team before the next Axis event/ co-op day OR within 7 days of the offense. Second written violation must be signed by all present and have an action plan to modify behavior in violation before returning.

Stike 3 – Formal dismissal from Axis by the Axis Director & leadership team.

*A strike is an officially documented offense that should come AFTER addressing the issue with the parent directly, outside of leadership. If an adult is in offense the same 3 strike policy applies.

Behavior outside of the Code of Conduct can result in immediate termination of your family membership, depending on severity.

  1. Parents are responsible for monitoring and maintaining control of their children’s behavior while involved in any Axis event.

While we all understand that hard days happen, if disruptive behavior becomes the norm for any parent or student, the leadership team and/ or Director of Axis will be involved.
