With a teaching career that began in 1988 and a lifelong passion for helping students thrive, Tim Bedley brings a wealth of experience and heart to every learning environment. His journey as an educator started early, teaching private drum lessons to elementary-aged kids as a teenager, followed by roles as a junior high and youth pastor, where he developed his unique gift for connecting with young people.

Tim’s teaching style centers on student engagement and making learning memorable, often through the creative use of music and song. He believes that who a student is matters more than what they know, and he’s deeply committed to nurturing both academic progress and strong character in every learner.

In 2013, Tim was honored as Riverside County’s Teacher of the Year, a reflection of his dedication and excellence across subjects including reading, math, writing, science, music, and history. He also has personal experience with homeschooling, having homeschooled two of his four now-adult children, giving him insight into the unique needs and values of homeschool families.

Outside the classroom, Tim is a devoted father and grandfather, a lifelong sports enthusiast, and an active guy who enjoys working out, hiking, concerts, eating Costco samples, and comedy shows. Whether he’s teaching a lesson or cheering from the sidelines, Tim brings energy, care, and a genuine love for kids and learning to everything he does.
