STATEMENT OF FAITH 

About God:
God is the one and only true God, yet He exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God
is the Creator, so everything belongs to Him and is under His control. God is holy, righteous,
majestic, and loving. God is all-knowing and purposeful, so He is at work to bring about His will. No
person, thing, or idea compares to God.

About the Scriptures:
God reveals Himself to us through the Bible, and it is 100% accurate, reliable, and authoritative.

About Human Life:
All human life is sacred and created by God in His image and for His pleasure. Human life is of
inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including preborn babies, the aged, the physically and
mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death.

About Gender, Marriage, and Family:
A person’s biological gender has been created by God and thus should be accepted as a stewardship
from God and not altered. Marriage is clearly defined in scripture as a lifelong covenant between one
biological man and one biological woman. As Biblically designated, sexual behavior is only
acceptable if it is within a heterosexual and monogamous marriage. Children are a heritage from the
Lord entrusted to parents to train up in righteousness for His glory.

About Sin:
Everyone has sinned and fallen short of God’s intention for people. As a result, we are all separated
from Him, even though He wants an intimate relationship with each of us.

About Salvation:
Jesus – God’s Son – came and lived on this earth, died, and rose again to defeat sin and death. God
offers His free gift of salvation to all who believe in Jesus and accept Him as Savior – the only way to
be forgiven and reconciled to God. Anyone who accepts this gift is adopted as a son or daughter into
God’s family and will live with Him forever in heaven.
